New! More Seed Libraries at Elgin County Branches

Welcome to two new Seed Libraries at Elgin County Library: Belmont and Springfield! In addition to the established Seed Libraries at Shedden and Dutton branches, these two new Seed Libraries are launching at Belmont and Springfield branches this week.

How Our Seed Libraries Work:

Call an Elgin County Library branch with a Seed Library – Belmont, Dutton, Shedden, Springfield – and place your seed order. Unsure if the seeds you want are available? Ask then, too! Then pick up your seeds during the branch’s Curbside Pickup service hours using your Elgin County Library card.
Please note that at this time, Elgin County Library branches are continuing to offer Curbside Pickup service only as a result of the province-wide declaration of emergency and stay-at-home order due to COVID-19.
