Public Notice - Pesticide Use within the County of Elgin
Elgin County intends to control invasive Phragmites in specific areas along its roadsides under the Public Works Exception of the Cosmetic Pesticides Ban for the promotion of public health and safety.

Elgin County will be using the following pesticides registered under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada):
- Roundup Weathermax with Transorb 2 Technology Liquid Herbicide (PCP Reg.#27487), containing the active ingredients of Glyphosate, present as Potassium Salt.
- The adjuvant MSO CONCENTRATE with Leci-Tech (PCP Reg# 28385), containing the active ingredient of Methylated seed oil of soybean 70%.
Spraying will commence on August 22nd weather permitting and continue until September 22nd.
