Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

The County of Elgin is an equal opportunity employer that employs approximately 450 full- and part-time employees. Job opportunities can be found in several different departments. These departments include:

  • Administrative Services
  • Community & Cultural Services (which includes: Branch Libraries, Archives, Museum)
  • Economic Development (which includes: Tourism)
  • Engineering Services
  • Financial Services (which includes: Information Technology, Provincial Offences, and Payroll)
  • Human Resources
  • Long-Term Care Homes (which include: Terrace Lodge, Elgin Manor, and Bobier Villa).
