County of Elgin Warden Dave Mennill’s Golf Tournament
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Elgin County Warden’s Golf Tournament scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2020 has been postponed. We thank you for your support of this event and look forward to welcoming you to the tournament in the fall, if possible. Updates will be sent to sponsors and players in the coming months and notice will be posted to the County’s website www.elgincounty.ca. The Warden’s Golf Tournament is held as an annual fundraiser for community organizations. Last year, the Warden’s Golf Tournament raised nearly $20,000 in support of United Way Elgin Middlesex. Many people could not, and cannot afford to prepare for how COVID-19 is affecting their family. You can help! United Way Elgin Middlesex needs your support now more than ever to provide greater assistance to community organizations who faced with rising demands for their services. United Way Elgin Middlesex convenes local social services, public health and government stakeholders to mobilize help for those who need it most. Their support reaches so many Elgin County residents who are facing barriers including poverty, homelessness and social isolation. As you do you part to protect those who are closest to you, we urge you to think of those who may need more help during this difficult time – Please consider supporting United Way Elgin Middlesex www.unitedwayem.ca.
