The County of Elgin has an exciting opportunity in our Engineering Services Department as the ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐.
๐ฑ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: Reporting to the Director of Engineering Services, the Manager of Roads and Asset Management is responsible for all approving all work activities on the County Road system through the applicable permit application processes, ensuring compliance with applicable County and industry standards. This position is responsible for managing the delivery of road maintenance through the Road Maintenance Agreement between the County and its local municipalities. The Manager provides strategic advice and recommendations related to the above noted service areas and represents the County as required at transportation-related public meetings, negotiations and resident group meetings.

The Corporate Communications and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of communications that elevate resident experience, address feedback, prepare residents for new services and support County Councilโs services and activities. The Communications and Engagement Coordinator develops, coordinates, delivers and evaluates corporate communications and public relations strategies that advance the goals, priorities and policies of Elgin County Council and County services.
