Elgin County Raises Pride Flag

On August 10, 2021 Elgin County Warden Tom Marks raised the Pride Flag at the Elgin County Heritage Centre. The Warden proclaimed August 9-15, 2021 Pride Week in Elgin County. 

MP Karen Vecchio and MPP Jeff Yurek also brought remarks at the event. 

The intent of the Pride Flag being raised at the County of Elgin administrative offices is to show support for the Rainbow Community and show the commitment of the community to provide a safe and welcoming place that improves the overall quality of life for all members.
