This is Councillor French’s inaugural term on Elgin County Council.

She has served on Aylmer Council for eight years and was elected as Mayor of Aylmer in the October 2018 election.

She has volunteered for many years in local schools and assisted with the implementation of the Healthy Snack Program.

Councillor French belongs to the City-County Relations, Policy Review, Terrace Lodge Building and Water Advisory committees.

Councillor French and her husband Steve have three daughters and three grandchildren.
