About the Tournament

Fore…! The County of Elgin is teeing up once again to host its Annual Warden’s Charity Golf Tournament. 

We are thrilled to announce that our 14th annual tournament will be held on
Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club.

Since 2008, the Golf Tournament initiative has raised over $300,000 for local charitable organizations in support of their services to improve our community’s health and wellness.

The cost to participate is $150/player and includes:

  • Breakfast & Lunch 
  • 18 holes of golf with cart (shotgun start at 10:30 am)
  • A ‘hole’ lot of fun!

Tournament Beneficiaries

Community Living Elgin (CLE) envisions a community where all people can live, work and achieve their full potential. 

CLE provides the following support and services to the Elgin County Community:

  • Residential Support
  • Day Program Support
  • Group & Supported Living
  • Respite Services
  • Family Support
  • Ontario Early Years Centre (0-6)

The Family Central exists to serve as a source of hope, working toward restoration of agency, and transformation for those experiencing the challenges of poverty, homelessness, mental health, and addictions. 

The Family Central provides the following support to the community:

  • Food Security
  • Shelter
  • Personal Support

Quad County Support Services provides supports and services to adults who have a developmental disability living in Western Elgin County.

They strive to create authentic and meaningful participation through community connection which is driven by individual choice

The West Elgin Community Health Centre offers primary health care, illness prevention and community programs primarily to Dutton Dunwich and West Elgin municipalities.

The money raised from the Charity Golf Tournament will go to the Systems Navigation program to support homelessness in our communities.

Sponsorship LevelVisibility
Platinum – $2,000

Includes all gold level opportunities plus:

  • One additional complimentary ticket above Gold – to enable two persons to play in the tournament for the day
  • Link on the County of Elgin Website to your company website for a minimum of one year from the date of the tournament
  • Recognition on the County’s Facebook Page the week before and after the tournament
  • Choose a special event to sponsor from the list below:
  • Sponsor either Breakfast, Lunch, or Course Contest
    • $200 prize awarded to the winner of your event
    • Company logo acknowledged on signage of your sponsored event
    • Acknowledgement of your Company in an email to participants outlining event winners
  • Sponsor a Participant Gift: Sponsor logo will appear on a gift that each participant will take home.
  • We will need your Company logo and website address to be emailed to ecuwsec@elgin.ca
Gold – $1,000

Includes all Silver Level opportunities plus:

  • One complimentary Ticket for one person to play in the tournament for the day
  • Company sign at one tee-off area on the course
  • Recognition as a sponsor in a local Newspaper after the tournament
  • We will need your Company logo to be emailed to ecuwsec@elgin.ca
  •  
Silver – $500 & under (monetary)
  • Recognition from the Warden – A signed Certificate of Thanks from the Warden
  • Acknowledgement in Tournament handout as a sponsor with company logo
  • Opportunity to provide items with your company logo that can be distributed to each participant
  • We will need your Company logo to be emailed to ecuwsec@elgin.ca
Bronze –
Door Prizes
  • Acknowledgement in Tournament handout as a sponsor without company logo
  • Opportunity to provide a door prize of your choice to us from your company that will be distributed to a lucky winner on the day of play (Please send the item before August 24th or email ecuwsec@elgin.ca to arrange pickup
