West Lorne
West Lorne Library was one of the original libraries included when the Elgin County Library System was formed in 1936.
The original building was a MacMillan Library Building and existed as such until a new structure was built in the 1990s in conjunction with the West Lorne Community Centre.
A fire in 2006 caused extensive damage to the building and its contents which included 50years of bound copies of the West Lorne Sun.
A new structure was built and the library had a grand reopening in September of 2007.
