Photograph accompanying Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited press release issued May 6, 1966. "Oakville, Ont.- Marvin T. Runyon, 41, has been appointed manager of the new passenger car plant that will be built near St. Thomas, Ont. by Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited. Born in Dallas, Texas, Runyon comes to Canada from the Norfolk, Va. assembly plant of Ford Motor Company where he was plant manager. Announcement of the appointment was made by Karl E. Scott, president, Ford of Canada."

Roy Bennett (left) as featured speaker. During the luncheon Bill Clark manager of the Talbotville-St. Thomas Ford Assembly Plant at Talbotville (centre) was presented with a set of cuff links. On Wednesday he celebrated his 30 years' service as a Ford employee. Shown chatting with Mr. Bennett and Mr. Clark is David Thwaites, past president of the St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce and currently president of the city's Commercial and Industrial Development Corporation."
