Elm & Centennial Roundabout
Project Description
The County of Elgin in partnership with the Municipality of Central Elgin and the City of St Thomas will be constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Centennial Road and Elm Street. Work includes the removal of existing infrastructure, minor storm and sanitary sewer works, the installation of new curbs, asphalt and sidewalks. The circulating island will be naturalized with native pollinator plantings. The intersection will be closed for the duration of the construction, and a signed detour route will be established.
Construction Schedule
Tentative Construction Start: April 3, 2023
Expected Completion: June 30, 2023
Construction Detour
A signed detour route will be established prior to construction, including advanced warning signage. Pedestrian access will be provided to the full extent possible.
