Accessing Records at the Archives
The collection at Elgin County Archives consists of archival documents that share the storied past of Elgin County, its government, and its people. We have an extensive collection of primary sources in storage, as well as secondary sources in our reference room library. Our collection is available to search in our online database, and a substantial portion of our records and photographs have been digitized. Patrons are welcome to visit our reference room to view records during our opening hours, but appointments are recommended to allow staff time to retrieve items of interest from storage.
