Women's Institutes began in West Elgin with Dutton in 1905. The two volumes give an overview of District projects and executives to 1998.
West Elgin District Vol. 1
Contains a historical overview of each of the WI branches of western Elgin County as well as biographies of members who served the Women’s' Institutes in offices beyond the local level. This volume also highlights the many and diverse activities engaged in by district branches.
