Social Organizations
In its 125 years of existence, the town of Aylmer has been home to many different social organizations and service clubs. These organizations inspired community activity and involvement from Aylmer residents regardless of age. This section includes images of the Rotary Club, Royal Canadian Legion, the Women’s Institute, the Kinsmen Club, the Kinette Club, Masons and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Also included are youth organizations such as the Scouts and Girl Guides.
The town of Aylmer also has a very active sports and recreation community. This section will highlight the town’s community center and local activities such as lawn bowling and swimming are documented as well.
