Content: "Air Vice-Marshal J.G. Bryans, Air Officer Commanding, Training Command, Trenton, is seen inspecting a flight of airwomen during a ceremonial parade at R.C.A.F. Station Aylmer on Monday. The air vice-marshal was making his annual inspection of the station. On his right is Wing Commander Arthur H. Moody, officer commanding the station. Other members of the inspecting party are Flight Lieutenant G. Lipkin, station adjutant, and Sqn. Ldr. F.M. Harding, senior accounts officer."

Caption: "Hon. George Pearkes, V.C., Minister of National Defence, arrived at R.C.A.F. Station Aylmer shortly before noon today to talk with district officials about future plans for the air station. Municipal officials from Aylmer, Springfield, and St. Thomas hope to be able to prevent the proposed closing of the station. Here Mr. Pearkes alights from the R.C.A.F. Transport Command aircraft, flanked by Air Vice-Marshal J.G. Bryans, Air Officer of Training Command, left, and Wing Commander Arthur H. Moody, Commanding Officer of the R.C.A.F. Station Aylmer.
