Elgin County Pride Week is Officially Proclaimed!

On behalf of County Council, Deputy Warden Ed Ketchabaw officially proclaimed July 25 to August 4, 2025 as Elgin County Pride Week during a flag raising ceremony in front of the Elgin County Heritage Centre.

A big thank you to the Elgin County Pride Celebrating Committee for attending and helping to highlight this important moment. Your continued leadership and advocacy play a vital role in creating a more inclusive and supportive community for all.

This proclamation reflects our shared commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming and equitable Elgin County – no matter who you are or who you love.
