Family Day Closure Notice

The following County establishments will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, for Family Day:

The Elgin County Administration Building & POA Building will resume regular hours on Tuesday, February 18th at 8:30 a.m. Our Library branches will resume regular hours on Tuesday, February 18th. For a full list of Branch locations and hours, please click here.

Family Day Fun at our Elgin County Heritage Centre

Our Elgin County Heritage Centre will be open on Family Day from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for a fun-filled afternoon of history and creativity!

Experience the Past Like Never Before! Use our green screen to place yourself in one of five historic Elgin County photos – take home a free print or receive a digital copy!

🔍 Scavenger Hunt – Explore the museum in a fun, interactive way!
