The changes outlined below for County of Elgin Homes will begin effective July 16, 2021.

Each Elgin County Home will communicate minimum & maximum visitors permitted in designated areas, while continuing physical distancing, based on operational capabilities.

Surveillance Testing

 Fully Immunized Individuals – have received required # of doses of COVID-19 vaccine + 14 days Where an asymptomatic individual is Fully Immunized Against COVID-19 the surveillance testing requirements are no longer required. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination at each visit, if you are unable Rapid Testing will be required

Partial/Unimmunized – when visiting you will be required to have 2-3 Rapid Antigen Tests performed every 7 days. General Visitors must wait for results prior to beginning their visit.

Graphic to indicate holiday closures at Elgin County Facilities. The Elgin County Administration Building, Provincial Offences Administration Building, and Elgin County Heritage Centre will be closed on Friday, December 23rd at noon. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
