T.H. Scott took pictures for many southern Ontario classrooms, note the stove in the centre of the room.
The Scotts were always out in the community taking photographs of clubs, groups and everyday events.
The drugstore was located at 587 Talbot Street and it was known for its showcases, soda fountain, and their own patent medicinal formulas
This photograph is an early one done in T.H. Scott's time
Mr. Verrell as the Chair of the Elgin Photographic Heritage Society was one of the driving members behind the processing of the Scott-Sefton Collection

Note City Hall, Penhale Boot Shop and the Colombia Theatre
Known as Hotel Empire from 1915-1925 and the Empire until the mid 1980s. This building became Burty Bobs in the 1990s, and burned down shortly there after.
Product shots would be taken and during the development the background would be eliminated or painted out. This would produce a photograph just highlighting the product, an aquarium starter kit, and nothing else.

Murray Scott took hundreds of photographs documenting the construction of the hospital in the 1930s
The Scotts had contracts with many of the railway company's in the area, and one of the jobs was to take photographs of all of the crossings in the area.

A large part of the business was taking wedding photographs
