Welcome to our exhibit commemorating Elgin County`s contributions to Canada's Second World War effort. In this exhibit you will discover the various ways in which the men and women of Elgin County sacrificed their lives -- both at home and in the battlefield -- in order to serve their country during one of the most difficult times in the twentieth century.

This exhibit includes digitized photographs, documents, and letters from the holdings of the Elgin County Archives in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. For more information, or to visit the archives in person, please contact Archivist Stephen Francom or visit the Elgin County Archives website.
