200,000th Maverick

January 29th, 1970 marked the production of the 200,000th Maverick at St. Thomas Ford Assembly Plant.

Prime Minister Trudeau Visits

June 20, 1970: Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau visits the St. Thomas Ford Assembly Plant.

300,000th Maverick

On June 23, 1970 the St. Thomas Ford Assembly Plant produced its 300,000th Maverick.

Ford’s 75th Year in Canada

St. Thomas Times-Journal article published November 24, 1978 with caption: "75 Years in Canada- To celebrate Ford's 75th year in Canada, the Ford assembly plant at Talbotville unveiled a new flag Thursday afternoon. Doing the honours were employees Rosemary Malton, a receptionist with 12 years of service, Ernie Krueger, a small tool repairman for 25 years, and Ray Beaume, a body shop foreman with 38 years. Their service totals 75 years to the company.
